Take up the Buderim9 Challenge to become a member of the exclusive Buderim 9 Club and help the Cerebral Palsy League support Queenslanders with cerebral palsy and related physical disabilities.
Serious cyclists will love the challenge of the Buderim 9 Ride up 9 of Buderim’s toughest hills & enjoy the rush of riding down them too!
What an extreme way to ensure you are too tired to cook Christmas dinner!
This ride started in 2010 & looks to become a local tradition for cyclists that are fit enough (& mad enough!) to have a go. Ride at your own pace, do all the hills or only some, meet up for breaks along the way. if you love riding your bike the Buderim 9 Ride is gonna be a whole lotta fun!

This ride is considered a challenge and must be completed within the 3 hour timeframe. You do not have to attempt all 9 hills.

All participants will require a valid Cycling Australia License. If you don't have one, you can purchase a Novicover Insurance for the duration of the event when you register.

Mooloolaba New Years Eve (NYE), is a family-friendly, alcohol & glass-free Council-run event that attracts 40,000 local residents & visitors to welcome in the new year. This free, family-friendly event is being held from 4pm to midnight and is packed full of live entertainment and fun activities including:

  • live music on the main stage
  • live music on the AMPED stage from local bands and artists
  • carnival rides and amusements
  • street performers, buskers and roving entertainers
  • face painters and children's activities
  • two spectacular fireworks displays.

Mooloolaba NYE is held in a fully fenced area that is alcohol and glass free and has security patrolling all night.

Please be aware there will be amplified music and fireworks at 8.30pm and midnight so ensure your pets are supervised if you live close by.
This is an alcohol, drug & glass-free event.
NO pets, NO disposable glo-sticks (LED okay)
No peddlers/promoters
