At Yandina Pony Club, learning is a major focal point & is not restricted to actual riding. Yandina Pony Club encourages members to become reliable & trustworthy, through the correct care of their animals. The organisation has an aim of not only creating good riders, but well-informed horse people. Certificates grading the efficiency of the riders are awarded when certain levels of horsemanship are shown.

Yandina Pony Club endeavours to support young people to benefit & enjoy the approved activities that are associated with horses & riding. It instructs members in a range of areas from regular disciplines to more recreational types of horse activities. Members are encouraged to be their very best, and can also be nominated for awards for their outstanding efforts.

Some basic exercises routinely carried out at Pony Club are: mounted games, dressage, show jumping, cross country, trail riding, theory on horses & much, much more.

Our season commences on Saturday 7th March, concluding with our Grand Final on the 5th September. (This may be extended should there be continual interference from the weather.)
Our grounds are situated at the Mooloolah Valley Country Club Sporting Grounds, 129 Mooloolah Connection Road, Mooloolah.
We have teams competing from all over the Sunshine Coast, from Caloundra to Gympie and Hinterland. Juniors play Saturday mornings and Seniors Saturday afternoons, weather permitting.
Our Competition consists of mixed 3 Pitch & U14, Women's A & B grades and a Men's competition.
As our Association is relatively young, we are still developing in many areas. Various Clinics are held throughout the season such as Coaching, Umpiring, Scoring and QSA Development Clinics. We look forward to helping in the development of future Players and Officials. Our association's monthly Management meeting's are held the 3rd Tuesday of every month, 7pm at 4 Lillypilly Court, Kawana Forest (Meridan Plains).

WALKING – THE FITNESS TRAILS

There are  four Maroochy Shire Council Trails to help keep you fit and healthy  on our beautiful Sunshine Coast. Each trail includes stations for warming up and cooling down, plus cardiovascular conditioning and muscle strengthening. The stations are a first for Queensland and are constructed from recycled plastic and stainless steel.
Designed  for the user to have the ability to work different muscle groups with a variety of easy to master exercises such as leg-ups, chin-dips, trunk twists and body curls. The stations are  accompanied by signed instructions to direct users of all fitness levels how to correctly and effectively make  use of the equipment.
Why not head down to one of the four trails and get fit and fabulous for the coming year.

CHANCELLOR PARK ESTATE, SIPPY DOWNS
The largest of the fitness trails, there are four separate trails within the Chancellor Park Estate, each made up of several exercise stations.
COOLUM BEACH
Lions Park, David Low Way, Coolum.
There are four exercise stations within the Coolum Beach fitness trail at Lions Park.
MOOLOOLABA (2)
Parkyn Parade, the original fitness trail, you will find four exercise stations in  the one area.
Mooloolaba Esplanade, a variety of fitness stations are located in an area off the Mooloolaba Esplanade near the Caravan Park.
